Welcome to the Southern Ports Tour de Esperance 2023! The TdE has been running for in excess of 10 years and continues to provide a challenging and inclusive opportunity for cyclists to participate in a local racing event. Whats NEW in 2023 you ask?? We introduce the Community & Corporate Challenge. Replacing the participation ride concept, we're encouraging the community and local businesses to challenge themselves as a team, build camaraderie, dust off the trusty stead and have a go!  There's lots of great prizes to win and of course lots of fun to be had!  The event this year is hosted 22nd & 23rd April, with a suburban criterium race on Saturday and the town central road race on Sunday morning. The Community & Corporate Challenge is being held simutaneously on the Sunday morning.  With ANZAC Day on Tuesday 25th, be sure to book an extra long weekend and head to Esperance for this brilliant country racing event.       IGO Limited CRITERIUM Saturday 22nd April 2023, Chantilly Circuit Registrations open 1pm, Race Briefing 1.45pm Nibbles available following event. Grades: mixed gender A - 40min + 2 laps  B - 35min + 2 laps  C - 30min + 2 laps  D - 25min + 2 laps   Prize Pool: $1000   Southern Ports ROAD RACE  Sunday 23rd April 2023, Whale Tail Registration desk opens 6.30am, Race briefing 7.30am Presentations 10.30am  Graded A-D, 55km - mixed gender grades Prize Pool: $2000 (+ FREE TSHIRT FOR FIRST 30 ENTRIES)   COMMUNITY & CORPORATE CHALLENGE   Join with friends, work colleagues or just on your own and take on the challenge! Consisting two (2) 11km laps (22km all up) -- all bikes encouraged (Road, Mountain, Tandem, E-Bikes) Minimum age 12yrs, and 15yrs and under must have an adult accompany rider at all times.   Registration desk opens 6.30am, Ride briefing 7.30am (FREE WATER BOTTLE FOR EVERY REGISTRATION & A FREE TSHIRT FOR THE FIRST 20!!)   LICENCING/INSURANCE  All riders must hold a valid Auscycling Race licence.
